About Table Arts Media
Media Production

We write, we photograph, we design, we package your ideas for digital and printed media—book, cookbook, web content, e-book—with an emphasis on food, chefs, restaurants, and natural and organic growers, producers, and purveyors. We work with a select group of Portland-area professionals in related skill areas as needed, keeping costs down.

Our Books

Fresh From Maine: Recipes and Stories from the State’s Best Chefs and Drinking in Maine: 50 Cocktails, Concoctions, and Drinks From Our Best Artisanal Producers and Restaurants are both available on this site, in stores, and elsewhere on line.

About Michael S. Sanders
I have been living and writing in Maine for 20 years, with previous books about food—From Here, You Can't See Paris and Families of the Vine—on the farmers, winemakers, and chefs of southwest France. I’ve written for the New York Times, Saveur, Gourmet, Afar, and Downeast. My recent work, including this book and the creation of Table Arts Media with Russell French, reflects the realization that "write local" is just as powerful a phrase as "eat local.”
